The work week takes its toll on all of us. After all, five days in an office is more than most anyone can bear in one go. But the true problem does not lie in sticking with coming into the office. The challenge lies in managing to keep your cool and not do something that will get you reported to human resources. For example, imagine a colleague strolled up to your desk an hour before quitting time and causally says that they need this report typed up by end of day. Now, you know that such a write-up takes half a day, and yet this person has the gall to give you an hour? You would be completely justified throwing that report back in their face and stamping on it repeatedly when it hit the ground. But that would result in a call to human resources that would ultimately ruin your weekend.

Probably one of the worse ideas when it comes to pretending you have metamorphosized into something else, especially considering that the difference between cat and plant is pretty obvious. Now if this cat had decided to say that it had turned into a soft toy or statue it might have been more believable.

This is a pretty genius idea so long as you are not spotted in the vicinity of your office. So what you do is you go radio silent and the night before you go to the area around your office and put up a bunch of ‘lost’ signs like this one, but with your face on it. That way your whole office will for sure know that you are not coming in and you will not have to call and make an excuse.
